Air Tahiti, up up and away

Thursday morning arrives and its time to catch our flight out to Tahiti. I was ubberly excited because it was finally here, although not as excited for the 8 hours we would be sitting through just to get there. Tahiti Air was great especially as the drinks kept coming, so I had my fill of champagne. The movies were great, so I also had my fill of that.

We arrived in Tahiti 8 hours later and it was humid when we deboarded. We got through the necessary formalities and met our travel agency to pick up our itinerary and our vouchers. We were greeted with traditional flower leis and flowers for our hair.

Then we headed to our first hotel to spend the night before heading out again. We checked in and were greeted with complimentry champagne in our room to celebrate honeymooning. before "Pop champagne" we changed and had our first fruity drinks at the bar. They were delicious along with the tapas that we ordered.


It was back to our room and we popped open the champagne out on the balcony and toasted to the start of our honeymoon. It was a great night!
